Thank You for Such a Great Invention!
Here are a few photos of my 3 month old African
Grey, Lindy. I began using a FlightSuit on him when
he was 2 and a half months old. He gets a bit fussy
when I begin to put it on, but while I am putting
it on I constantly praise him so he knows he's a
GOOD BIRD for letting me do this to him! Once it's
on, I give him more praise and tell him how beautiful
he is and he is all set! He doesn't bite at it and
doesn't seem to mind it one bit.
I love how I can sit with him on the couch and watch
an entire movie without getting up every 15 minutes
to bring him to his cage to go poop or, worse yet,
have him poop on the couch!
I have a 3 year old Conure who isn't too keen on
the FlightSuit and I regret not getting him started
when he was a baby. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND starting
your bird wearing a FlightSuit as soon as possible
so it is like second nature to them - just like
it is to Lindy!
Thank you for such a great invention! I plan on
purchasing many more FlightSuits... especially the
monogrammed FleeceSuit and a "Tux with Tails" for
when my fiancé and I get married this fall (Lindy
of course will be a big part of the wedding!!!).
